A Live Illustrator as Outside Perspective

I was invited to TUI Airlines HQ in Luton last week, to live illustrate a full day management meeting. Their director wanted an outside perspective, to capture the key takeaways from each session, and the day as a whole. The live illustration remained TOP secret until the next day, where it was unveiled and served as a prompt to kickstart the second day of meetings.

Reflecting on Live Illustration

The live illustration was an engaging, visual documentation of the previous day. It helped the team stay on track and consolidate their thoughts and ideas from the day before. It informed and celebrated the hard work from the management meeting, and helped to break up the stiffness of a two-day meeting!

I loved the creative way that Tui used live illustration as an interactive reflection tool for their meeting. Live illustration and graphic recording are a great way to break up that corporate stiffness! And reinforce focus and engagement at corporate meetings and events.
